PBGC’s November Interest Rate Assumptions for DB Calculations
October 14, 2021 -- Scheduled to be published in the October 15, 2020 Federal Register, are Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC)-updated interest rate assumptions for benefit payments in terminating single-employer defined benefit pension plans. Specifically, these interest assumptions are for benefit payments with valuation dates in November 2020 and apply to plans insured by PBGC.
