Senate Approves Appropriations Bill, Containing the SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022

The Senate has approved the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (CAA 2023), by a 68-29 vote. Included in this bill is the SECURE 2.0 Act of 2022.

The House will now take up CAA 2023 with voting anticipated to take place as early as this evening. It is anticipated the bill will pass, as leaders from both chambers and both parties have been deeply involved in negotiating the details of the bill.
